And everything began with the guy just right above. A few years ago I made a poster for the english magazine, Don't Panic, about "The End of the World". I drew a volcano and a god-like triangle plus a few mythological animals and monsters. Taking rid of that work, and I can't remember why, I ended up drawing "The Apocalypsis Beast" like a pink single-eyed gum monster (very poppy!). And this was the result... and everything began!

Y todo empezó con el tipo de aquí arriba. Hace unos años hice un póster para la revista inglesa, Don't Panic, sobre "El Fin del Mundo". Dibujé un volcán con un Dios en forma de triángulo más algunos animales mitológicos y varios monstruos. Aprovechando la coyuntura, y no recuerdo porqué, acabé dibujando "La Bestia del Apocalipsis" como un monstruo rosa de un solo ojo (todo muy pop!). Y este fue el resultado... y todo empezó!

For several purposes I needed a bigger monster so I designed a leveled up monster!

Por varias razones necesité un monstruo más grande así que dibujé un nuevo monstruo de nivel 2!

And it gained weight and became my personal cards that I designed on four different colors.

I make my family's Xmas card every year since I'm 12 old. On 2008 it was the pink monster...

Cada año desde que tengo 12 años hago la felicitación de Navidad de mi familia. En 2008 la hice con el monstruo rosa...

Printnic decided to make an Iphone skin out of that design.

A few weeks after I designed the first monster I imagined that the "Beast" should have smaller collegues to make it's dirty jobs... This is what came out!

Unas semanas más tarde después de diseñar el primer monstruo me imaginé que la "Bestia" debía tener colegas más pequeños para que le hicieran el trabajo sucio... Esto es lo que salió!

I recently made some patterns with them... a Book Jacket for Printnic included (only a prototype yet).

Recientemente hice algunos estampados con ellos... Book Jacket para Printnic incluido (sólo un prototipo de momento).

Magnetic Project has made a t-shirt out of them too.

A year after creating all them I frenzied creating some stickers out of them. This was the result (all with my first bubblegum typographies and my personal interpretations of God, in a similar style).

Un año después de un año de crearlos tuve muchísimas ganas de hacer unas pegatinas con todos ellos. Este fue el resultado (junto con mis primeras tipografías de chicle y mis personales interpretaciones de Dios en un estilo similar).

Three years after I made my first design I started to create some evolutionated creatures with the same texture.

I just mixed a sketch I made at Anguleme Comicbook Fair about a gorilla type monster and the single eyed bubblegum monster.

This is my latest illustration with this style.

Tres años después de hacer mi primer diseño, empecé a crear algunas criaturas un poco más evolucionadas con la misma textura.

Simplemente mezclé un boceto que hice en la Feria de Cómic de Angouleme sobre un monstruo estilo gorila y el monstruo de chicle de un solo ojo.
Ésta es mi última ilustración en este estilo.

Y decided to exploit the floral theme with bubble gum texture. The first flower I made (based on a rose) I ended up using it for the family Xmas card in 2012.

I made another one based on the japanese imperial chrysanthemum.

The first design I made of an object made of bubble gum was a Xmas tree that I used for the Xmas card on 2010. Here are some close ups and details of the inner structure.

I recently made some textures that can be applied on a lot of objects like wallpapers, notebooks,etc...
